Narrating Only His Voice by A.B. Duncan

I’m delighted to share that I am currently narrating Only His Voice by A.B. Duncan in a duet production.

As a narrator, there’s always something special about stepping into a character’s voice and bringing a story to life, but Only His Voice holds a unique place for me. The novel combines emotional intensity, compelling characters, and the kind of chemistry that makes dark romance such a captivating genre to perform.

Working in a duet format allows both narrators to fully embody their respective characters, creating a more immersive listening experience for the audience. It’s a style of production I thoroughly enjoy, as it adds an extra layer of realism and emotional depth to every scene.

Recording takes place entirely within my professionally treated home studio, using a Rode NT1 5th Generation microphone and Focusrite interface. Every chapter is recorded and edited using Adobe Audition with a punch-and-roll workflow, ensuring clean, consistent audio throughout the production process.

As someone who specialises in dark romance and emotionally driven romance titles, projects like Only His Voice are exactly why I love audiobook narration. The opportunity to connect listeners with characters through performance is something I never take for granted.
